Osimi City is a project that comes to life through Osimi City PTE Ltd, based in Singapore. The proposing team is mainly based in Vietnam, along with international professionals, and its goal is to create a Play-to-Earn version of Grand Theft Auto, a game that many of you may know, given that it has been popular on the market for 20 years.
The story of Osimi City is based in a country under attack from hordes of zombies, in which players will have the opportunity to pursue two different types of careers: “Racer” and “Shooter”. In the first career, Racer, the style will be at the limit between GTA and Need For Speed, while in the shooter career, the style will be between the concept of GTA and that of more traditional shooters.
Obviously, the predominant inspiration remains that of Grand Theft Auto, a classic that has been continuing to impact the market since 1997, as we can see from this image, taken from statista.com, which depicts a histogram with bars representing the number of copies of the game sold year by year, measured in millions of copies.

The game will be developed in three different modes: the first, Free-to-Play, will allow players to try out the game mode without having to buy NFTs to play, allowing them to try out the game first. Later on, they can buy Osimi City NFTs and therefore have access to Play-to-Earn game modes.
The second mode, Player-versus-Environment, which is the first P2E mode, requires the player to purchase one or more NFTs. In this mode, the player can earn OSI tokens, native to the game, by unlocking missions and winning contests.
The third and final game mode, Player-versus-Player, will consist of tournaments with an entry fee, and will be divided into different categories for different levels of the player’s avatar. The winner of the tournament can win a cash prize, derived from the tournament entry fees paid by various players.
What marketing opportunities can be hidden behind a game created in a Metaverse?
Traditional marketing for a company usually starts with advertising (often done through paid traffic) to attract subscribers to email communications, and then uses a structured funnel in many possible ways to convince them to take actions, such as buying a service/product.
In a Metaverse with an integrated Play-to-Earn game, there are players and investors interested in the sector within the ecosystem. Players, who represent a very specific niche of users, therefore offer a very relevant opportunity for companies that choose to purchase land in the Metaverse, in order to position their brand (Brand Positioning) and increase awareness of specific niches towards that brand (Brand Awareness).
The tokenomics of the OSI token is depicted below: a maximum of one billion OSI tokens, with deflationary behavior and money flows that will see a portion of them deducted for a buy-back (purchase by the company) and a subsequent Burn (i.e., tokens sent to an address from which they will no longer be withdrawable) to reduce the total supply of tokens.

The flow of money, of which 25% will be destined for Burn, will be the sales commissions on the secondary market of NFTs, as shown in the following diagram.
The blockchain on which OSI token will be created is OKC OK-Chain. OK-Chain, the incubator of OKX, is a rapidly growing ecosystem that aims to follow in the footsteps of the well-established Binance Labs. The token will have a multi-chain dimension and will be created natively on the OK-Chain blockchain, with integration on Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, and Ethereum.
The four classes of NFTs in Osimi City

As previously mentioned, the NFTs are divided into four different categories:
- Characters
- Racing cars
- Combat weapons
- Lands of the metaverse
The first three categories will also give access to the Play-to-Earn version of the game and will be sold through a proprietary marketplace.
Osimi City aims to be the first to faithfully replicate the concept of Grand Theft Auto in a highly ambitious challenge. Grand Theft Auto is a particularly complex type of game to reproduce due to difficult animations to create and make realistic. The Osimi City development team has already made significant progress by providing limited but faithful gameplay from the start to best convey the idea of what the game will be like once completed.
Osimi City aims to further expand and promote a new business model that integrates various participants in different roles: traditional investors, themed brands, gamers, and speculators.
In mid-August, it was announced that Osimi City had partnered with Polygon and OK-Chain, with the aim of having an impact on the market that is suitable for the expectations and quality of the game.
