As I sit in my office writing this article and as you (hopefully) read it, our live blockchain voting system is making its virtual rounds throughout the entire peninsula. Since October 22, in all of Italy, many users have been voting with their smartphones for the best communication experience provided by a Public Administration in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The theme is highly relevant considering the succession of decrees that are once again putting a stop, rightfully so, to our daily activities. And now, more than ever, there is a need to further digitize decision-making and organizational processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all started with the partnership between Affidaty S.p.A. and PA Social, with the aim of strengthening the digital presence of the first Italian association dedicated to digital communication and information of Public Administration through blockchain technology. What better opportunity, therefore, to exploit the potential of blockchain than a national competition where thousands of users can express their preference at any time, anywhere, and immutably? In other words, through a live vote?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The “Smartphone d’Oro,” the name of the PA Social competition, has immediately had a resounding success in the PA offices. And there are more than 60 organizations that have applied, presenting and telling their experiences through a video. From Lombardy to Sicily, we can discover how public organizations have faced one of the most difficult periods of the last 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enjoy the 63 videos in the competition, divided by author, it is necessary to download the PA Social App and access the live voting module, one of the services we offer to all activities that use our blockchain applications. By clicking on the appropriate section of the home screen and once registered, the user can watch the videos and express their preference by clicking on the name of the competing project. Very simple. The vote will then be saved and written inside the T.R.I.N.C.I. blockchain powered by Affidaty, which guarantees the immutability of the data. Each user can always verify the transaction of their vote within their wallet, to have tangible proof of having participated and voted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The solution created by Affidaty S.p.A. for PA Social is proof that blockchain systems are operational and perfectly functional, easy to use, and designed to simplify all user actions within the apps to the maximum.
